Campus Scooter is the only company in Mid-Michigan that offers a repair service on most makes and models of mopeds and scooters. Our rates are the lowest available in the State for our customers as well as for those who bought their scooter elsewhere.

Engine Oil Change
At Campus Scooter we offer a Premium* Synthetic Engine Oil change for $30. We offer a combo discount of $42.50 if a Premium Engine Oil Change and Gear Oil change are performed at the same time. On new scooters it is suggested to perform the first oil change between 300 and 500 miles. *Campus Scooter is an Official Amsoil dealer

At Campus Scooter we offer a Gear Oil change service for $20. We offer a combo discount of $42.50 if an Engine Oil Change and Gear Oil change are performed at the same time. On new scooters it is suggested to perform the first gear oil change between 300 and 500 miles.

Pick Up/Delivery*
Campus Scooter offers a pickup and delivery service.
The area of service must be within a 10 mile radius. If it is further, additional charges may apply. The cost is $35 for Students (within a 5 mile radius of Campus Scooter) and $50 for everyone else. To arrange a pick up, either fill out this form and pay or stop by our shop to fill out the paperwork, provide directions, leave a key(s) and pay for service. *This service is an outsourced service and must be paid prior to pick up. No exceptions or discounts.

Tune-Up
A tune-up is loosely defined as the adjustment of various components of an internal combustion engine to achieve maximum performance. An internal combustion engine essentially works by using the force created from controlled explosions which take place in the engine’s cylinders to turn the drive shaft and wheels.
Campus Scooter’s Maintenance Tune-Up Service costs $89 and will make sure that this chain of events happens at the right time with optimum efficiency. The engine timing, mixture of fuel and air, spark plug firing sequence, and emission control all have to happen in a precisely timed sequence in order for the engine to run properly.
During a tune-up, our Campus Scooter Maintenance Specialist will check, adjust, clean or replace the following components as needed:
Spark Plug – Replaced with an NGK spark plug
Fuel Filter – Replaced with a new fuel filter
Oil and Gear Oil – Changed
Air Filter – Cleaned if necessary
Carburetor – Adjusted if necessary
Scooter Assembly
Did you just purchase a scooter and received a box of parts? At Campus Scooter we do assemble scooters that were not purchased from us. Most Internet companies require your purchase to be assembled by a mechanic. Our mechanics do assemble scooters and provide a 12-point inspecton on all components of the scooter which includes mechanical and electrical components. If anything is identified as defective from the manufacturer you will be given that information so that you may make any applicable warranty claims with them.
The cost for this service is $149. If additional work is needed to be performed the regular $85/hour non-customer labor costs will apply. Scooter must be picked up if waiting for supplier to send parts. All services must be paid for prior to pick up.
Tire Repair
At Campus Scooter we offer tire repair services that include inflation, installation of a tube, installation of a valve stem or installation of a new tire. When scooter tire is inspected it will be determined as to what service will be needed. Tubes range in price from $10 to $20 and tires can be $50 to over $100. In most cases the labor charge is $45 to $85 per tire.
Battery Charge
Campus Scooter offers free battery charges to anyone who purchased a scooter from Campus Scooter. We also offer this service to non-customers for $10. Drop off your battery or scooter and we will charge it from 1 hour to overnight to ensure a full charge. If it is deemed that your battery is dead, we do stock new batteries that range in price from $50 to $60.
